If the Mafia does exist, it is purely a criminal phenomenon. This stereotype still exists and contributes to the underestimation of the problem. If it were a criminal phenomenon pure and simple, it would have already been eradicated a long time ago. They just kill each other and it has nothing to do with us. Wrong. After a Mafia war, the remaining survivors strengthen their own groups and create more problems. You shouldn’t talk about the Mafia because you ruin an area’s reputation.
